wishlist & wants 002

I was going to start this post off with a portrait photo (it's a slight tradition it seems with my posts, and my page views seem to go mad when there is one!) but alas, I am feeling far too weary and tired to do so :( So I thought this is the perfect time to do another wishlist & wants post, so I can show you lovelies what I'm lusting after at the moment rather than my face!

After talking to Sarah last night via twitter I've come across this dress which I tried on today and now I'm in love with it;

Dorothy Perkins - £40

Isn't it gorgeous? It comes a little long on me (oh the joys of being a childs height) but I love the shape to it, and the fact it can be dressed up or down. The reason Sarah mentioned this was because I'm after a dress for my 21st, and the one I want is slightly out of my budget (although i'm still considering it)....

Aqua (via ASOS) - £170

Oh god, just looking at it breaks my heart! It comes in this colour, white, black, pink and red. They have a store in Carnaby Street, so I'm considering going to try it on... Eek!

001. Yes I am alive. I haven't disabandoned the blogging world quite yet. I've got quite a lot going on ~irl~ which is why I've been a bit AWOL the past few days. I'll be back to blogging regularly in no time. Don't worry, I'm happy and healthy so don't worry yourselves :)

002. I wore this outfit on Saturday night when I went out for dinner and drinks with my best friend. We went TGI's and I re-found my love for some of their delicious drinks. Food & cocktails = definitely the way to a girls heart. I'm not sure why the quality of the photo is as bad as it's showing either... apologies!

003. Did anyone watch the BAFTAS last night? I adore watching them, and also the Oscars/Golden Globes etc. Everyone looked lovely, and it was no surprise that Colin Firth/'The Kings Speech' basically won (nearly) everything they were nominated for. It didn't surprise me that Natalie Portman won 'Best Actress' either! 

004. Hope you all have a lovely Valentines day too. I personally despise it, and see it as a way of places like Clintons to rip people off, but hey ho, each to their own and what not. I'm spending the night in with J, probably pigging out on sweets and watch rubbish TV or a film! So, whatever you lovely ladies are doing, I hope you all enjoy yourselves :)

A while back I did this post, which was just a collection of funny and sweet photos (Tumblr is a wonderful thing), so I thought I'd carry it on and do another post carrying on from it! Enjoy;

Ah where has this week (and weekend) gone?! I feel like this year is going too quick already, especially as I'm going to *finally* be 21 next month. Scary. However, this does mean it's getting closer to Summer; yipee!

I actually wore this outfit on Friday, but I've been so busy with work and other bits, I haven't had time to update! You might recognise the shirt, as it is from this post! As you can see, it looks much nicer in real life :) The colour is very similar to the tunic in my last post! The (faux) leather shorts were a christmas gift, and i adooooore them, despite their funny shape I think they have. They're so comfy, and I love teaming the toughness of them with a pretty shirt or blouse. 

I'm becoming ridiculously tired recently too, which I am disliking; I feel like my days are wasted, as I have no energy to do anything, or anything that I do do, it makes me exhausted after. I swear this isn't an excuse for my laziness, as much as I would like it to be! 

I also got 'round to watching Black Swan the other night too! Oh my, it was breath taking, and I can also see what people mean when they say how dark it is. I wouldn't say it's for everyone, but if you have any doubts about seeing it (like I did) then seriously, go and watch! I was blown away to say the least.

Woah woah woah... What is this? Another outfit post? Another entry after only blogging yesterday? *gasp* I know, I was just as shocked as you guys! I quite liked the outfit I wore today, so I thought I would share it all with you! The tunic/dress is from (would you believe it) Topshop and the jacket is from the Urban Outfitters' sale - it was reduced from £60 to £10; bargain! Looking at the photos, I realise this tunic does come across as a bit on the short side, but trust me, it doesn't look that bad irl. The benefits of being short results in being able to wear many things as dresses, yay!

I want to point you in the direction of a post that caught my eye last night; the lovely Elle from Elle & The Fashion Folk wrote a great little entry about 'what makes a good blog?'. It's a great read and very well written - I think many of you would enjoy it! 

Also, Lily pointed out an entry by a lovely girl called Sofia, who has wrote about 'the ugly side of blogging'. It's a real eye opener to be honest, and I do feel sorry for some of these girls (and boys!) whose small blogs have turned into a phenomenon in the "blog-o-sphere" world, and how they end up being judged by others for what they say or do!

wishlist & wants 001

I've always liked the idea of having a regular weekly post on something... so I thought this was a good idea to start with! I'm constantly making mental wish lists of things that I must want to own, so putting it down somewhere means I won't lose track of them all hah.

As many of you can probably tell from previous posts, Topshop is where I get the majority of my clothes from - don't get me wrong, I'll shop anywhere if they have things that I like, but Topshop just always seems to have "me" clothes, and the fit is great for me. SO! With Spring just around the corner (I'm optimistic...) here are some bits that I must get my paws on soon:

Eek! How lovely are these bits? I can't wait to throw on dresses with just a cute cardigan in the Summer. Going to parks for picnics, and having pub lunches. I am so excited! I also NEED (yes, need) that boat hat in my life. I have been searching for the perfect one since last Summer, and I think that the above hat is "the one". 

Excuse me for the 'turn my face away from the camera' pose up there ^ One of my eyes has been bloodshot for a week now, and they are both quite pinky where I'm run down and tired; I didn't want to scare you all with my mutant eyes.

Saying that, I need to sleep - I'm up at that awful hour of 6am for University, and I'm not doing myself any favours with still being up now! Although my excuse is, I was meant to do this post this morning before I went to lecture, but I didn't have time! Woops.
